I have been released.... The paper is turned in. It still needs to be approved by my committee and the graduate school, but the writing part is done. I feel a little queasy.

Big breath! That must feel pretty good, non?

I am getting there.

I keep on thinking of what they are going to say like "You don't know how to use a comma" or "I can't believe the typos."

I can still do revisions based on what their feedback is...but I am mostly happy.

My office is a wreck

Congratulations, I am just beginning to have a small inkling of what you have achieved.

Please tell us your secret of staying the course as I'm finding it hard at the moment.

But you've achieved something significant! Mine is a wreck and all I've done is slob out in it. Many congratulations!! Just tell them you are trying to keep up with current usage of the comma (ie none) and spelling (ie txtspk).

It must be a huge relief after all this time.
Not to mention the fact Frd will now get off your case. (o;

I was never on her case. I was trying to keep her on task. Marianne had a hard deadline to make.

Getting anything hard to do finished is nine-tenths of the battle.

Way to go!

Want to know how many typos I have found since turning that puppy in?

Good thing it won't get printed until May.

I am sure my committee will have things they want/need me to revise before it goes to press as well.
